Are the QR codes really free? Do they expire?⌄
Yes and no respectively. These are static QR codes: the content is encoded directly in the pattern, so they never expire, need no account, and keep working forever — unlike “dynamic” codes from paid services that die when your subscription ends.
SVG or PNG — which should I download?⌄
SVG is a vector format that stays perfectly sharp at any print size — use it for posters, packaging and print shops. PNG is best for websites, documents and messaging apps. We generate both from the same code at up to 1024×1024.
Which error-correction level should I choose?⌄
M (15%) is the best default. Choose H (30%) if the code may get dirty, partially covered or printed small; choose L only when you need to squeeze a very long text into a denser code.
