When you drop a file, the image is decoded into an off-screen bitmap; resize uses bilinear downsampling, crop is a non-destructive region copy, rotation happens in 90-degree steps with pixel-exact boundary swapping, and watermarking composites a second text layer with your chosen opacity before a single PNG/JPEG/WebP encode.

- Quality control — JPEG exports expose a quality slider (60–100); WebP keeps alpha transparency for logos.
