About Us

tomai is a global, multilingual toolbox — dozens of free utilities and AI-powered tools in 11 languages, built to be fast, private and honest.

Last updated: 2026-08-15

What we do

We bring the small tools people reach for every day — video, image, developer and file utilities, plus AI-powered readings and analysis — together on one fast site. No installs, no clutter, no dark patterns, and every page is available in 11 languages.

Privacy first

Wherever technically possible our tools run entirely in your browser: videos, images and files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to a server. Tools that work this way carry a "Free" badge and even keep working offline once the page is loaded.

Free forever, honestly

Every tool on this site is free and unlimited, forever — most run entirely in your browser, and the rest run on our own servers at our cost, so we never charge you for anything. We will never move a tool behind a paywall.

Built on the edge

The site runs on a global edge network with servers close to you, which is why pages load fast whether you are in Singapore, São Paulo or Stockholm.

Get in touch

Ideas, feedback, or a tool you wish existed? Write to contact@tomai.uk — we read everything.

AI Use

Two parts of this site use AI, and both are labeled. Fortune readings are interpreted by the DeepSeek model — every reading states it is entertainment, never fact. Live monitoring data (place names, NASA descriptions) is machine-translated for display. Everything else is deterministic code running in your browser or on our servers.

Who runs this site

tomai.uk is run by an independent developer who builds every tool by hand: choosing what to build from reader requests, writing the code, and testing each tool in a real browser before it goes live. There is no content farm and no outsourced text mill behind these pages — if a tool misbehaves, write to contact@tomai.uk and a human reads it.

Editorial policy

  • Every tool is tested in a real browser before launch, including its translations.
  • AI drafts are reviewed: fortune readings carry an entertainment disclaimer, and no AI text is published as fact.
  • Broken tools are fixed or removed — a tool that stops working does not stay listed.
  • Reader requests decide what gets built next.
