How is my Five-Element balance calculated?⌄
From your Four Pillars (八字): the eight Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches each map to one of the five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water). We tally them and judge whether your Day Master is strong or weak using the classical 扶抑 (support/restrain) method.
What are favourable (喜用) elements?⌄
The elements that best balance your chart. If your Day Master is weak, the elements that support it (its own element + the one that generates it) are favourable; if strong, the elements that drain or control it are favourable. Boosting favourable elements is the basis of remedies (colors, directions, fields).
Is this the same as a full BaZi reading?⌄
It focuses specifically on the five-element balance, strength and favourable elements — the practical core people use for 起名, 调理 and career choices. For the full four-pillar chart, use the BaZi tool.
Is my birthday private?⌄
