Is my video uploaded to a server?⌄
No. The clip is captured and re-encoded entirely in your browser with the Canvas and MediaRecorder APIs — your video never leaves your device, and there is no watermark or sign-up.
Is the cut lossless?⌄
No — browsers cannot cut video streams without re-encoding, so the clip is re-recorded at your chosen quality (High keeps it visually close to the original). If you need frame-exact lossless cutting, a desktop tool like LosslessCut or ffmpeg is the right choice.
How precise are the start and end points?⌄
The trimmer stops within one frame of your end time, and starts at the nearest decodable frame to your start time. Use the playhead buttons while the preview is paused to pick the exact moment visually.
