From your birth chart's favourable (喜用) Five-Element, computed with our BaZi engine. Each element has classical correspondences: colors, a compass direction (Wood=East, Fire=South, Earth=Center, Metal=West, Water=North), 河圖 numbers (Water 1·6, Fire 2·7, Wood 3·8, Metal 4·9, Earth 5·0) and a 七曜 lucky weekday. So the guide is grounded, not random.
What is a ‘favourable element’?⌄
In 五行 analysis, it's the element that best balances your chart — supporting a weak Day Master or draining a strong one. Boosting it with color, direction and timing is the traditional basis of ‘调理’ (harmonizing) and lucky-color advice.
Do I need my exact birth hour?⌄
It helps but isn't required. The hour refines the element balance slightly; if you're not sure, we use noon, which is accurate enough for your lucky colors and animal. For a full chart, use the BaZi or Five-Elements tool.
