Is the rotation lossless?⌄
The image is re-encoded once at high quality (0.95 for JPEG). For photos this is visually indistinguishable; PNG output is always lossless.
Why does my phone photo look already rotated?⌄
Phones often store the image sideways with an orientation flag. Browsers apply that flag when decoding, so what you see here is the photo as intended — the rotation you add is applied on top and saved into the pixels for every viewer.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?⌄
