Audio Speed Changer
Change the playback speed of any audio file while keeping the pitch — on the server
Uses FFmpeg atempo to change speed while preserving pitch — vocals and instruments stay at their natural tone.
Server-side FFmpeg handles any format — including HEVC/H.265 files your browser can't play. Files are deleted from the server within 30 minutes.
⚠️ Please don't close or refresh this page until it's done, or you may lose the result.
💡 Upload speed depends on your own network, not our servers — a slow connection just means the bar moves slower. It'll keep going; no need to retry or worry about being charged twice.

How it works
- 1
Upload any audio file — format doesn't matter, the server decodes it.

Listen to the result on the page and download it. Files auto-delete in 30 minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Does changing the speed affect the pitch?⌄
No — the tool uses FFmpeg's atempo filter, which changes playback speed while preserving the original pitch. Voices stay at their natural tone and instruments keep their key regardless of the speed you choose.
What speed range is supported?⌄
0.5× (half speed) to 2× (double speed) via a single atempo instance. For speeds outside this range (e.g. 0.25× or 4×), FFmpeg chains multiple atempo filters together — the server handles this automatically.
What happens to my file?⌄
The upload and the speed-adjusted result are deleted automatically within 30 minutes. Jobs are only reachable with your session's signed token.
