Format Converters

How to choose: match the tool to the direction you are moving — image, data, document, or subtitle — and prefer local tools when the file is personal. Practical tips: after converting spreadsheets, open the result and check the header row and number formats before importing anywhere; OCR reads clean printed text far better than handwriting; and when converting subtitles, spot-check the first and last cue timings against the video.
